About signing

Signing on this site is a visual signature: your signature drawn or typed and placed as an image on the page. It is suitable for most everyday paperwork. It is not a certificate-based digital signature. If a bank, court, government office, or other party requires a certificate-based signature, use the service they name for that document.

About limits

Some jobs cannot be done honestly in a browser, and this site does not offer them. They are listed plainly on the What It Can't Do page. Forms made in the older XFA format are one example: no browser tool can fill them.
